feature request - exclude categories/sections

How difficult would this be to use? I have sections which should not load the avatar. There is no option from what I can see to do this.

It would be a great feature, jcomments does this well, maybe you could replicate it from that system.

Do you need to show author but hide the avatar at the same time? Otherwise there is option to hide avatar when author is hidden.
Also there is undocumented feature to disable avatar for any article with code
